The British cruiserweight Ozil McKenzie looks to have gotten a lucky break.

McKenzie who could be described as an honest professional throughout the last twelve years, has landed an IBF world cruiserweight fight against the new champion, Victor Ramirez.

Ramirez, with a record that reads 22-2 with 17 wins coming by knockout, will take on McKenzie, who has a record of 25-12 with 13 wins coming by knockout, will be fighting the UK fighter at the Villa La Nata Sporting Club, Benavidez, in Buernos Aires, Argentina.

The fight is scheduled to take place on October 2nd which gives McKenzie very little time to fine tune his preparations, but the challenge remains confident, remaking to the media,

?This is an unbelievable opportunity that has been put in front of me and one that I won?t get again so I will give it everything I?ve got.?

Our best wishes go to Ozil who we reckon could be in for a hard night, although he does have a punchers chance of producing a shock.
