Anthony Joshua?s second defence of his IBF world title fight is just over a week away.
On Saturday 10th December Joshua will put his title on the line when he takes on the experienced American fighter, Eric Molina.
Today it was announced that Joshua has made an addition to his team.
The unbeaten heavyweight has revealed that the Team GB boxing performance director, Rob McCracken, will now be his full time coach.
McCracken has experience as a coach at the highest level having previously worked with Carl Froch, before the Nottingham fighter hung up his gloves.
Against Molina, Joshua has confirmed that McCracken will be in his corner.
Previously, Joshua has worked with Tony Sims, under the new system Sims will stay with the camp and will be McCracken?s assistant.
Talking about the appointment, Joshua remarked to the media,
‘I have remained close to Rob and the GB Boxing squad since 2012.
‘I have consistently turned to him for advice and guidance so I am really excited to have him in my corner.’
It is, we feel; an interesting appointment and should further develop Joshua?s prospering career.
