It?s something that has been talked about for what appears to be months now!

Newspapers talk has intimated that Amir Khan could quite possibly be Floyd Mayweather Junior?s next opponent; well it would appear now that the fight is most probably going to happen.

It was mentioned that Amir Khan has signed his half of the fight contract several weeks ago and that all was needed was for Mayweather to do likewise.

Today, the inference is that the boxer many perceive as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world is about to do just that and commit to a 3rd May date at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

If all the ends are tied together then Amir will be stepping back into the ring for the first time in 13 months and although the Bolton fighter is, as always, as confident as ever, it, to us, still looks a mammoth task to try and become the first boxer to beat the legend that is Mayweather.
