After taking his record to 48-0 with his unanimous points victory over Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather is still talking about taking one more fight, in September, then retiring.
It appears that for his 49th and final fight Floyd has picked out our very own Amir Khan as his final fight.
Talking about taking on the Bolton fight, Mayweather?s father, Floyd Senior, had this to say,
?Give he?s fought all the hard-hitters, my son needs to end his contract with an easy fight, he doesn?t need no tough fights.
?Amir Khan, yes that would be a good fight for him. My son would beat him I know.?
Khan, in response, has replied,
?I really believe I have Mayweather?s number. I can?t do September because of Ramadan but this year or early next year I will definitely jump to it.?
Now whether the Mayweather camp are calling Khan out now because they know he won?t commit to a September date due to religious restrictions or they are prepared to wait remains to be seen.
