His record looks good (on paper) but is he a creditable opponent?

News has filtered through that Dereck Chisora will defend his EBU heavyweight title against the Italian fighter, Matteo Modugno.

Modugno looks to have a good record on paper with it currently sitting at 14-0, with 8 by way of knockout, but he?s not ranked in the top 15 by the European Boxing Union.

With the fight taking place at the Copper Box Arena at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, the feeling I get is that Chisora?s camp are taking things far too cautious just to pad their fighters record out and keep his recent unbeaten run going which isn?t how the average Boxing fan likes things.

A very poor selection of opponent and one who Chisora will finish off in double quick time is my feeling.
