Whilst the big promotion, in the UK, is in London this weekend, one boxer will be hoping in another promotion, being held in Yorkshire.

On Saturday night, in Rotherham, Matt Burkinshaw can move a step closer to achieve his dream of fighting for a world title when he faces the South African fighter Klaas Mboyane in a WBO world bantamweight crown eliminator.

Burkinshaw, 28-years of age, will pick up the Inter-Continental title if he can defeat his South African opponent and aims to fight for the WBO title at the ground of his football heroes, Sheffield Wednesday.

Talking about fighting at Hillsborough, Burkinshaw has remarked to the media,

?I?d like to box for the world title at Wednesday?s ground later this year. I?d like to win it there.?

One fight at a time Matt, one fight at a time!
