Although the IBF were gracious enough not to strip Anthony Joshua of his IBF belt and allow him to fulfil the contractual obligation to give Wladimir Klitschko a re-match, nothing has been set in concrete.
Some two months after the epic encounter at Wembley Stadium where AJ emerged victorious after a remarkable fight saw him stop Klitchskho in the eleventh round, Klitschko has still to notify those concerned he wants to go ahead with a second fight.
With the month of June already upon us and with the IBF having decreed the fight must have taken place by 2nd December, the sands of time are running out.
As well as agreeing a date, a venue and all the other malarkey that goes with such a huge event, Klitschko has to be certain it is really what he wants.
Talking to the media, the Ukrainian has remarked,
?Soon I will have to decide whether to step up to the return fight against Anthony Joshua or not. Everybody is speculating. I have not made a decision yet.?
Well can you get a move on please Wladimir!
Make Your Mind Up Wladimir
