With a third date set for the WBO middleweight fight between the champion Andy Lee and the challenger Billy Joe Saunders, the build-up is sure to intensify over the coming weeks.

However the champion, Andy Lee, is looking beyond the fight on 9th December at the Manchester Arena, he?s already looking at unifying the title.

Whilst Saunders is expected to be a tough opponent, Lee has no doubts about the outcome of the fight, remarking to the media,

?Once I have beaten Saunders on December 19, I can move on in my career and unify the titles.

?My fans have been very patient and I?ll give them what they have been waiting for as a Christmas present, beating Saunders and remaining world champion.?

And on his title defence against Saunders, he added,

?I?m a proud man and I?m prepared to fight ?tooth and nail? to keep my title. Saunders is in for the fight of his life.?

We await a reaction from Saunders but the anticipation levels are already rising, let?s hope it?s not called off for a third time shall we.
