Yesterday we queried the selection of opponent for Michael Murray on the Froch v Groves undercard this Saturday evening.

Having fought, and beaten Sergey Khomitsky four years ago and with Khomitsky being in his late thirties, we couldn?t really see the point.

Well it turns out that Murray will be spared the fight with the WBA interim middleweight champion having to pull out of the fight due to picking up a virus.

As a replacement on the bill, it has been declared that Andy Lee will take his place, however, an opponent has yet to be announced and with the promotion being so soon, we suspect it?ll be difficult to find a decent opponent for a fighter with a record of 30-2 with 21 coming by way of knockout.

We?ll endeavour to keep abreast of matters!
