Having won the world crown, at the third attempt, Andy Lee looks set to remain an active fighter.

Already there is talk of a first defence taking place as early as March 2015 with Lee?s opponent being Billy Joe Saunders.

Saunders, with a record that reads 21-0 with 11 by way of knockout, earned a world title shot by gaining a split decision win over Chris Eubank Junior.

However, if the fight is made, the possible venue remains a debatable point. Lee has ambitions of defending his WBO middleweight belt in Ireland but the consensus of opinion is that he could make far more money if the fight was held in the United Kingdom.

We await an announcement on the subject matter.
