If this week, ahead of what promises to be a magical night at the O2 Arena this Saturday, on thing signifies just what is wrong with boxing it is the IBF?s decision to strip Tyson Fury of the world title belt he won against Wladimir Klitschko.

The IBF showed no leniency with Tyson having been in possession of the belt for less than two weeks, but instead of me pontificating about the injustice of it all perhaps the best way to sum it all up lies in the words of Peter Fury who is quoted as having remarked about the whole shambolic situation,

?If the IBF are going to make a belated moral judgement and strip Tyson, because apparently Klitsckho?s promoter never told them about the rematch clause, and then they should be just as moral and not take the large sanction fees they are taking.?

?The IBF should be ashamed of themselves.?

That, to me, sums it up perfectly!
