After losing his world heavyweight titles to Tyson Fury it seems very likely that Wladimir Klitschko will take the re-match option in his contract.
With Tyson Fury celebrating what many are describing as one of the greatest upsets in heavyweight history, Wladmir, licking his wounds, the 39-year-old had this to say to the media about a re-match,
‘I lost the battle but the fighter is still in me.
‘We’ll soon work out when and where the rematch will take place and let you know.?
Whereas Tyson, absolutely delighted that he?d done exactly as he said he would, responded with,
‘I’m a fighter, so I will take on all challengers. I want to be a great champion and I’d like to do it all again. Who knows what the rematch holds? One thing I can say about it is that it’s going to be explosive.’
Hopefully, as the reigning champion, Tyson will have a huge say as to where the fight will take place, could it be at Wembley Stadium in the early summer of 2016?
Let?s hope so!
