With November 28th drawing ever closer the war of words between the two combatants set to enter the Dusseldorf ring is starting to get a little spicy.
Yesterday, Wladimir Klitschko, in an attempt to belittle his opponent, Tyson Fury, suggested that Tyson isn?t even the best British heavyweight out there, let alone being the one that might defeat him.
Wladmir inferred that both David Haye and Anthony Joshua are better than the unbeaten Fury with the multi-belt world title holder remarking to the media,
?David Haye would have knocked out Tyson Fury if the fight had happened.
?Tyson is not a power puncher. He does not have power behind his punches.
?As for Anthony Joshua, I?ve sparred with him. And I think he would win against Fury too. Anthony is still raw but has improved a lot ? I admire him and he has all the skills.?
Two contentious issues raised there but in my opinion the Ukrainian is correct.
However, the champion does have some words about what lies ahead for him when the two meet face-to-face in the ring, further adding,
?Fury is taller than me and has a longer reach. He is also a switch-hitter and very comfortable with it.
?So I expect it to be very competitive. He is also undefeated so his record is cleaner than mine.
And with regards to the madcap antics of the fighter who turned up at a press conference dressed as Batman,
?I thought I had seen it all but after seeing Tyson, I know I was wrong.?
We wait, with baited breath, for Tyson?s reply.
Klitschko Rates Haye and Joshua Higher than Fury
