Klitschko Praise for Joshua

With Tyson Fury set to engage in heavyweight battle with Wladimir Klitschko in October, the current multi-belt champion has taken time out to speak about a British fighter, but it?s no Tyson.

Instead Wladimir has taken time out to tell the world that he believes that the British fighter to look out for is Anthony Joshua.

Wladimir and Anthony have sparred together in the gym and there is the suspicion that the two will lock horns again ahead of the fight with Fury.

But, speaking about Joshua the champion has been nothing but complimentary about the young heavyweight who has knocked out all his first thirteen opponents and all inside three rounds.

This is what Wladimir has had to say about the young fighter from Watford,

?Joshua has the qualities that not many guys have had.

‘He definitely has the potential to become a real big star in boxing.

‘Anthony has all the tools to become that great champion inside and, most importantly, probably, outside of the ring.?

And although the champion is now advancing in years, he still hasn?t ruled out facing Joshua as a challenger for his world titles, adding,

‘He needs to improve and eventually it will happen, if I stay where I am today.

‘You cannot pass me since I’ve been holding the titles for many years, so if you want to get onto my mountain then you will have to face me?

Now that is an intriguing prospect!
