The forthcoming heavyweight clash featuring Wladimir Klitschko defending his multitude of belts against Kurat Pulev, will now need to be rescheduled.

Klitschko had been set to defend his IBF / IBO / WBA / WBO belts against the mandatory IBF challenger but has unfortunately, suffered a tear in his left bicep.

The injury occurred during a sparring session on Friday and the injury will require the 38 year-old to rest up for four weeks.

It is expected that the earliest the bout can now take place is November although that is purely speculative and based on the fact the injury won?t require surgery.

For the unbeaten Pulev this will prove to be hugely infuriating after the fighter had compiled a record that reads 20-0 with 11 by way of knockout.

As soon as we get a replacement date finalized we?ll let you know.
