Following on from his latest win, on Saturday night, at the Ponds Forge Arena in Sheffield, things just seem to get better and better for Kid Galahad.

The win on Saturday took his record to 18-0 with 9 by way of knockout whilst also putting him on the verge of a crack at a world title fight at super-bantamweight.

However, Kid Galahad will be absolutely delighted that he has been voted as the Boxing Writer?s Club Young Boxer of the Year.

The 24 year-old will be presented with the award later this month and will do so with our sincere congratulations.

Let?s hope the exciting young fighter gets that world title he craves, possibly against either Scott Quigg or Carl Frampton.
