There seems to be, at the moment, a great deal of verbal spats being exchanged as various fighters try to get the bouts they want.

At welterweight there?s a trio who seem intent on riling each other.

Yesterday we ran an article on how Floyd Mayweather Junior had mocked Amir Khan and previously we?ve covered how Kell Brook is more than eager to meet Amir Khan in the ring.

But Khan seems to have established an agenda of sorts and has, in his on mind, selected an order of events, with the Bolton fighter wanting to take on Mayweather first and then Brook with Khan remarking,

?I want to fight Floyd Mayweather and I want to promote England.?

?It would be great for the country and for the people. Kell Brook will always be there. He?s young. But Mayweather?s not always going to be there and that?s why I really want that fight. It has nothing to do with money. It?s because I really believe I can win that fight.?

That might be Amir?s plan but I reckon he may have to beat Brook first to get a chance to be Mayweather?s last opponent.
