As the world sits and waits to see whether Floyd Mayweather Junior will sign on the dotted line to fight Manny Pacquiao, it?s interesting to see that a Plan B is developing.
If, as some suspect, Mayweather declines to fight either Manny Pacquiao or our own Amir Khan then the aforementioned to would be quite prepared to take on each other in a fight that would attract huge attention.
However, if that were to happen, Amir Khan has issued a stipulation by insisting that he will not meet his old Freddie Roach camp-mate at any weight less than 147 pounds.
Since moving up to welterweight Khan has been improving his punch resistance and building up his body and the thought of getting down beneath 147 pounds is not, for Amir, a viable one.
