This Saturday evening, at the Echo Arena, Amir Khan makes his long-awaited return to a British ring.

Khan hasn’t fought in a British ring since he won against Julio Diaz, at the Sheffield Arena, in 2013.

The Bolton fighter, also, hasn’t fought since he was brutally knocked out by Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in May 2018.

This lunchtime the weigh-in took place ahead of the fight against Phil Lo Greco.

Khan, now 31-years-of-age, weighed in at 10 stone 10 pounds, whereas Lo Greco, 33-years-of-age, weighed in at 10 stone, 9 pounds and 5 ounces.

The fight, set to be shown live on Sky Sports, is a sell out and could be a close encounter with both boxers having respectable records, with Khan’s reading 35 fights, 31 wins and 4 defeats compared to Lo Greco’s 31 fights, 28 wins and 3 defeats.

Who is your money on folks?
