Now whether Floyd Mayweather Junior will ever climb into the ring with our own Amir Khan remains one huge debatable subject.

Having swerved Khan to meet Maidana, in his last fight, there is talk of a re-match taking place which, if so, will ensure Khan doesn?t get to face Mayweather across the ring in 2014.

However, it does appear that the duo are set for a face-off soon!

Mayweather is undertaking a UK tour with one of the stopping-off points being the Reebok Stadium, in Bolton, on June 23rd where for £200 a ticket, you can be entertained by tales from the fighter rated the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Therefore, with Mayweather in Khan?s very own backyard, it?s perhaps inevitable that Khan is keen to gate-crash the party with the Bolton fighter remarking,

?When I heard he was coming to Bolton, I thought I must invite him around my house.?

?We could have a game of pool, but I?m rubbish at that so maybe we could have a game of Fight Night and I could knock him out.?

?We plan to go to that event at the Reebok and of course I?d love to meet him. I?ve met him a few times and he?s not arrogant like he is on TV.?

Do I feel a bro-mance coming on here?
