It would appear that Amir Khan has no intention of accepting the £8 million put on the table by Eddie Hearn to face the Sheffield fighter Kell Brook.

In fact Amir may well have upped the ante as far as the war-of-words goes when he infers that Kell Brook isn?t at the same level as he is.

On the social network, Twitter, Khan has remarked,

‘Kell, work your way up to world-class level.’

‘If you need an opponent the local shopkeeper won’t mind making a few quid. Can get him licensed. So many names call me out – when it’s time to sign they are not to be seen.?

‘I don’t refuse any challenge from TOP fighters. I only refuse the low ones. Fighting Brook won’t get me the Floyd [Mayweather] fight. Fighting [Adrien] Broner, [Robert] Guerrero, [Devon] Alexander, [Shawn] Porter will. If Adrien Broner wants it, let’s do it. [Marcos] Maidana knocked him down twice. I’ll knock him out.’

I wonder what Kell Brook?s reply will be? It should be interesting!
