After announcing that he?d signed to fight Saul Alvarez, over in Las Vegas, in what is a huge fight for Amir Khan, the Bolton fighter has spoken about, once again, fighting in the US.

The British fight fans have not seen Amir Khan fight on these shores since he beat Julio Diaz back in 2013. Since then Khan has boxed three times in the US.

The huge bout against Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez, is scheduled for May 7th at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas.

Talking about the fight and trying to appease his British fight fans, Khan is quoted as having remarked,

?I definitely want to give my fans a fight in the UK soon.

?I?d love the Alvarez fight to be in the UK but being in Vegas will hopefully be good for them.

?It will be a holiday season and hopefully people can have a nice break as well as seeing me fight.

?I want to see UK fans take over Vegas, which I believe they will.

?Don?t get me wrong, I?ve always wanted to fight in the UK but this opportunity came in Vegas and it was hard not to take.?

The trouble being Amir is that attending a fight stateside is expensive enough without the family tagging along as well for a holiday.

Let?s just hope that, for the less affluent amongst us, the fight is available on pay-per-view in the UK.
