Is he biting off more than he could chew though?

With, so we?re told the meg-fight between Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao drawing closer, it looks as if Amir Khan is looking for another opponent for his next bout.

The name currently in the frame to meet Khan is the current WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto.

However, before we all think about Khan skipping through the weights to fight Cotto at middleweight, perhaps we should point out that the fight would be at a catch-weight with Khan insisting he?d take Cotto on at a weight limit of 155 pounds, although Cotto would still have to put his 160 pound WBC middleweight title on the line.

Talking about a proposed fight Khan has remarked on a social media site,

?Stylistically Cotto would be a great fight for me.

?He?s a great champion. Just imagine that fight in UK.?

I can but I?d fear for you Amir. Having been hurt by some big punching welterweights, can you really take the power Cotto has or is the plan to box on the run for what would be twelve hard rounds.
