After being out of the ring for some seven months, since his last bout, we understand that Amir Khan is lined up to make his ring comeback in December.

It is being reported that Khan will be fighting in Las Vegas, at the MGM Grand, on December 6th.

As for an opponent, look no further than Devon Alexander with it being inferred that if Khan can get past Alexander, convincingly, he will get that much vaunted fight against Floyd Mayweather Junior.

The fight, if it does go ahead, against Alexander will be given a little added spice as another British fighter, Kell Brook, was scheduled to take on the American, in a world title bout, before injury curtailed that dream. Brook has, in recent times, been calling Khan out for a domestic battle if he can get past Shawn Porter in his forthcoming world title bout in August.
