The will-he, won?t-he saga with regards to Amir Khan getting in the ring with Floyd Mayweather Junior has taken a step forward.

Khan, currently in Dubai, has let slip that he has put pen-to-paper on a contract to fight Mayweather at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel on May 3rd.

The Bolton fighter, now 27 years of age, is expected to earn a cool £8 million for his part in the fight and discussing the deal, he?s remarked,

?I?ve signed my part of the contract, they?ve not signed theirs?

All that remains to be seen now is whether Mayweather commits his signature to the contract or decides to opt for another opponent!

We?ll keep you posted!
