In Sheffield, on Saturday evening, Kell Brook wasted no time in calling out his welterweight rival, Amir Khan.

Backed up by his promoter, Eddie Hearn, the duo tried to entice Khan into meeting Brook, at Wembley Stadium on June 13th.

Khan?s immediate response was to give the suggestion the thumbs down indicating that Brook needed to beat a few names before he would consider fighting him.

Since then, fearing a huge Wembley Stadium pay-day isn?t going to happen, it seems Hearn has tried to bully Khan into accepting the Brook fight on the referenced date at the aforementioned stadium, by giving the Bolton fighter an ultimatum, remarking,

?If we don?t start talking for real in the next couple of days it will be too late for June 13.

?And I?m not expecting my phone to ring within 48 hours. They have already said that our fight will happen ? but not next.?

Which then begs the question, whom will Brook meet next if a Khan bout is dependent on the Sheffield fighter meeting some big-name boxers?

Well it would seem that Hearn has some big names in mind with the likes of Brandon Rios, Juan Manuel Marquez or Keith Thurman being mentioned. Perhaps engaging with one of them will further enhance Brook?s reputation and entice the Khan camp into signing that contract.
