Khalid Yafai is one of a string of promising fighters coming through the ranks that are tipped to reach the very top.

The Birmingham youngster impresses every time he fights and currently has a record that reads 20-0.

At the Barclaycard Arena, in Birmingham, the flyweight gave another good display stopping the Nicaraguan fighter Johnson Tellez, in the third round.

Yafai?s progress has been recognised by the WBA and it has been announced that Khalid will be fighting for the WBA super-flyweight title on 10th December, at the Manchester Arena.

Khalid will be taking on the current WBA super flyweight champion Luis Concepcion who won the world title back in August when he defeated Kohei Kono, in Tokyo.

The promotion being put together by Eddie Hearns is starting to take shape, all we need is for the Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko to be signed off.
