Boxing is unlike any other sport.
To those who have had professional careers, the problems encountered when they hang up their gloves often lead to a ring return.
Very few make a successful ring return, very few hit the heights they previously achieved and very few enhance their reputations.
Today news has reached us that Zab Judah is the latest to hit the comeback trail.
Now 30-years-of-age, Judah is set to fight at the Sun National Bank Centre in Trenton, New Jersey, on 21st January.
His opponent that night is the journeyman fighter Jorge Luis Munguia, a fighter that has a record that reads 13-7 with 5 of his wins coming by way of knockout.
The fight will take place in the 140lb division.
But what worries us is that Judah hasn?t fought since losing to Paul Malignaggi back in December 2013 the loss to the New Yorker was his second straight loss and Judah has lost three of his last four fights.
Which begs us to ask the question, why is Zab Judah bothering?
