With there being doubts as to whether the hugely anticipated fight between Anthony Joshua and Waldimir Klitschko will go-ahead on December 10th, in Manchester, it seems that the IBF heavyweight title will be boxing somebody.

Speculation suggests that Klitschko, as we explained yesterday, only wants to commit to the fight if the WBA belt is on the line as well as Joshua?s IBF belt.

But whilst the negotiations go on, Eddie Hearn is continuing to search for other suitable opponents for Joshua in case the answer regarding Klitschko is of the negative variety.

Talking about the proposed super-fight, Hearn has remarked that he was ?crossing fingers? that the fight against the former Ukrainian heavyweight champions gets signed off.

However, if it doesn?t, it remains to be who Hearn will match Joshua with, it?d have to be an opponent that captures the imagination of the British fight public or else the whole Manchester 10th promotion could fall flat on its face.
