Steadily rising through the ranks and now rated #7 by the WBC, Anthony Joshua will be hoping for professional win number eleven tonight at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.
Joshua?s previous ten opponents have failed to hear the bell for the start of round four and the buzz doing the rounds this morning is that his opponent, Jason Gavern, having his 50th fight will struggle to be the first to hear that fourth round bell.
Yesterday, at the weigh-in, Joshua looked in fine shape even though he tipped the scales at a career heaviest 245 pounds. Gavern, keen to provide a big upset tonight, also looked in good shape and tipped the scales at 244 pounds.
