The unification fights in the heavyweight division, are the topic of much discussion at the moment.
It would appear that there are plans afoot for Anthony Joshua to meet the Kiwi Joseph Parker first before moving on to take on the American fighter Deontay Wilder, later this year.
If both fights come to fruition, then it promises to be an exciting year for the heavyweight division even more so with there being talk of a Tyson Fury comeback as well.
With regards to the first of those match-ups, it is being reported that a deal could be struck as early as this week.
Reports suggest that Joseph Parker?s promoter, David Higgins, will be in London this week to finalise the deal with Anthony Joshua?s promoter, Eddie Hearn.
It is anticipated that the bout will take place on Saturday 31st March with the Principality Stadium, in Cardiff, the firm favourite to host the heavyweight showdown.
The fight will see Anthony Joshua put his WBA, and IBF titles on the line against the WBO version of the title held by Joseph Parker.
Bring it on we say!
