The events of the last twenty-four hours whereby Tyson Fury has relinquished his WBA and WBO belts has opened the door for what many perceive as a real blockbuster heavyweight clash.
For the past week or so Eddie Hearn has been speaking about doing his utmost to put on a promotion, in either November or December; that would see Anthony Joshua take on Wladimir Klitschko.
Hearn spoke about several obstacles having to be overcome first but the recent relinquishing of the belts held by Tyson Fury has, seemingly, opened the doors for a unification fight whereby Joshua and Klitschko would go head-to-head for the vacated WBA belt and also the IBF belt Joshua currently holds.
Talking about the deal being finalised, Hearn has admitted,
‘It is the big favourite to be the next fight for both.?
Whilst also adding a fight between the two is,
?Very close.?
Hopefully the deal can be done this week and then the scramble for fight tickets will begin.
