To me, as a fan of Boxing, this time of the year is the most disappointing.

The action, especially on the domestic front, dries up and we?re left to wait for the action to get underway again.

However, amidst the lapse in action, it appears that one of our leading prospects, the Olympic gold medallist, Anthony Joshua, is keen to remain very active.

Joshua, who made his first three outings as a professional, winning all three, wants to fight as many as 10 times in 2014.

The reason being Joshua is keen to get those wins under his belt to climb the British rankings.

However, with Joshua not commencing his 2014 fight programme until February 1st, at the Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff, when he?ll be taking on Dorian Darch, it?ll be a very hectic remainder for the year for the young prospect, but we?ve no doubt t will be an exciting one.
