It seems the public might get what they desire!
After registering his 12th win of his professional career whilst also maintaining his 100 per cent stoppage record and all inside three rounds, talk is gathering momentum in relation to Anthony Joshua fighting a familiar foe.
Dillian Whyte has been goading Joshua for several months now and reckons he deserves a shot at the Watford heavyweight based on the simple fact, when both were amateurs, Whyte dumped Joshua on the canvas.
It was, of course, quite a while ago and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since.
But, since turning professional, Whyte has also carved out a pretty decent record and when it comes t fights like this, where the grudge element starts to emerge, the fighting public usually get what they want.
Talking about Joshua being allowed to take on Whyte, Eddie Hearn has remarked,
?There?s been a lot banter going on between the camps on social media. Maybe we could do it for September.?
That seems like a pretty decent idea to me, how about you?
Joshua to Fight Whyte?
