They say the heavyweight division is the most exciting in boxing.
Two big guys going toe-to-toe knowing one huge punch from either could finish the fight in spectacular fashion is something that keeps the spectators on the edge of their seats.
At this moment in time the heavyweight division is blessed with two charismatic and likeable fighter, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, who both have that big punch in their armoury and who are, quite probably, destined to meet one day, if they both keep their unbeaten records.
But, whilst Joshua is the current flavour of the month, after what is already being described as the fight of the year when he stopped Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium in April, the Watford fighter knows that things could have been so different in another era.
Talking to the media, Joshua has spoken about facing the most fearsome heavyweight ever (when he was at his best) Mike Tyson, with Joshua remarking,
?There was no way I could have taken on that guy. I would have taken the pay cheque.
?I would have taken a dive against Tyson. He was a beast. All credit ? he was that good.?
He was and I?m sure the likes of Michael Spinks and Trevor Berbick were beaten before they stepped into the ring.
