This Saturday, up in Manchester, our heavyweight hope Anthony Joshua enters the ring for his eighth professional fight.
The London 2012 Olympic heavyweight champion has dispatched all seven of his previous opponents in quick time.
Boxing on the under-card of the WBA super-bantamweight title fight between Scott Quigg and Stephane Jamoye, Joshua has been matched against the Kazakh-born fighter Konstantin Airich.
At this stage of his career match-making for Joshua is a tricky affair. Last time out he blew away the once durable Matt Skelton and whilst Airich could provide a stiffer test, here at Vital Boxing we reckon Joshua will get the win, possibly by a stoppage in the third to fourth rounds.
Talking to the media, ahead of the contest, Joshua has spoken about the fight, remarking to the media,
?Saturday can?t come soon enough?
?It?s like normal now fighting back-to-back, but I just need to get the job done this Saturday.?
?A fight is a fight. There will only be one winner and hopefully, without sounding too confident, that will be me.?
It will Joshua and then you can step up another couple of rungs of the ladder and show that what the pundits have seen so far is merely the tip of the iceberg!
