There are interesting times ahead for the British heavyweight scene.

The division has come alive with talent and there are hopes that come October 24, in Dusseldorf, Britain will have a new world heavyweight champion when Tyson Fury finally gets the chance to get in the ring with the IBF / IBO / WBA / WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko.

However, our other big heavyweight hope, Anthony Joshua, is of the opinion that Fury is wasting his time fighting the champion, suggesting that the unbeaten Brit will get beaten.

When pressed on the subject in a recent interview with Sky Sports and asked if he believes Wladimir will beat Tyson, he replied,

?Yeah, I believe so for sure.

?There are levels in boxing.?

Joshua has sparred with Wladimir and there appears to be a mutual respect developing between the two.

But when pressed on who he?d prefer to meet if given the chance, Joshua opted for Fury, remarking,

?Probably Tyson Fury. It would be a massive fight and it would be great for Great Britain as well. He?s not as experienced as Klitschko, and he?s an Olympic champion and he?s been champion for 10 years as a professional. Me and Fury would love a proper, proper dust up.?

Now that would be something to witness.
