In the chief support bout to the Brook v Senchenko fight last night, Anthony Joshua had his second professional contest.

Joshua, a hugely exciting heavyweight prospect, was up against the experienced fighter Paul Butlin.

Ahead of the fight, Butlin had explained how he should have been the opponent for Joshua?s first fight but had to forego the pleasure as it clashed with his wedding day. Butlin had also spoken about taking the fight to the youngster and causing a shock.

Unfortunately for Butlin those words were to ring hollow with Joshua controlling the fight and stopping the journeyman after a mere fifty seconds of round two.

Joshua, who will next appear on November 14th and talking to the media afterwards, had this to say about win number two,

?I?m being kept busy and that?s how I like it. I want as much experience as I can get as quickly as I can get it. I prefer the pros because it feels more like the real deal.?

It?ll be interesting to see who his team select as opponent number three as this man continues to move his career onwards and, hopefully, upwards.
