Next up for Anthony Joshua is a second defence of his IBF world heavyweight title, in Manchester, on December 10th.
Joshua, having seen a fight with Wladimir Klitschko not quite materialise, will be taking on Eric Molina.
It?s a fight that many feel will give Joshua a comfortable nights? work, although that old adage about one punch changing everything in heavyweight boxing should be remembered.
On a run of 17-0 with all 17 wins coming by way of knockout, Joshua is one of the hottest properties in boxing at the moment and it seems his career is being handled well.
But as the IBF champion, Joshua knows that the big fights will come and already there is talk of the clash with Klitschko taking place in early 2017, a fight that would be eagerly awaited.
However, whilst it?s always a little dangerous to look past one fight at a time, there is already talk of a next opponent for Joshua if he beats Molina and Klitschko.
Joshua has indicated that he?d like to get in the ring with Luis ?King Kong? Ortiz, a heavyweight in the same stable as him and a heavyweight who has a record that reads 25-0 with 22 wins coming by way of knockout.
It?s already looking as if Joshua has a busy 2017 ahead of him, let?s hope none of the obstacles in his way derail his plans.
