Supporters of Anthony Joshua will be disappointed at the news that broke yesterday.
Scheduled to fight on the bill at the O2 Arena, on January 31st, against the rated American fighter Kevin Johnson, Joshua has been forced to withdraw from the bout.
After bludgeoning his ten previous opponents to early defeats the fight against Johnson, the 11th of his professional career, was seen as a stepping stone towards bigger and better things, but a stress fracture in his lower back has forced Joshua to pull out.
Talking about his disappointment, Joshua had this to say,
?It?s bad news for myself and the fans who had bought tickets.?
It certainly is but these things happen!
