After elevating Frankie Gavin to world welterweight title contender, Eddie Hearn moved swiftly to add Anthony Joshua to the bill at the Barclaycard Arena on Saturday 9th May.
At the time Joshua had no known opponent but that situation has now been addressed.
Joshua, with a record of 11-0 with all 11 coming by way of stoppage, will take on 34-year-old Raphael Zumbano Love, who has a record of 36-10-1 with 29 wins coming by way of knockout.
The fight will be above ten rounds and Love will arrive in the UK having lost six out of his last eleven fights. Perhaps his biggest claim to fame in recent times has been when he went the full distance with the veteran Shannon Briggs in 2014.
Here at Vital Boxing we expect Joshua to win, the only point up for discussion is how soon?
