Last Saturday, the undercard of the titanic battle between Carl Froch and George Groves should have featured Martin Murray and Anthony Joshua.

However, the former had to withdraw due to injury whilst the latter had to withdraw with a minor shoulder injury,

Thankfully, both are on the mend and both are scheduled to fight on a promotion at the ExCel Arena in London?s Docklands on December 14th.

Murray, who was scheduled to face Sergey Khomitsky, will face the same fighter even though he?s beaten him before and many see the fight as not being much of a challenge for Murray who will be entering the ring with a record that reads 25-1-1, with 11 by way of knockout.

Joshua will, as we?ve mentioned before, face Dorian Dardh in a six round bout as the decorated Olympian continues his education in the professional game.

Also on the bill will be our lightweight hope, Kevin Mitchell who, almost on home ground, will face Brunet Zamora.

Meanwhile, Lee Purdy will be attempting to get back in the headlines with a 12 round fight against Leonard Bundu.

All in all it?s a night to put in your diary.
