The career of our IBF heavyweight champion of the world, Anthony Joshua, continues in earnest on 26th November.
Yesterday it was announced that Joshua will make his second defence of the title he won when he destroyed Charles ?Prince? Martin inside two rounds in April.
His first defence saw Joshua stretched a little more before he stopped Dominic Breazeale, inside seven rounds, in June.
No opponent has been named for Joshua?s second defence, that is being held back until 26th September.
However, talking about a return to the Manchester Arena, Joshua is quoted as having remarked,
‘I can’t wait to get back up north.
‘I have been inspired over the summer by the fighters in the Olympics. It has given me a new perspective and huge hunger to get back in ring.’
The last time Joshua fought in Manchester was in his eighth bout when he beat Konstantin Airich, we?ve no doubt tickets will fly out and it will be a sell-out, but it promises to be one hell of a night, even though we don?t know who the opponent will be.
