When it was first suggested that George groves would be meeting Badou Jack on 22nd August, the call went out for people to hold back on buying flight tickets and booking hotel accommodation.
The feeling was that the fight date might be moved.
But, after a shot wait it was confirmed that August 22nd was indeed the date and that Las Vegas was the venue.
Now, low and behold, we hear that the fight has been postponed!
Now it is expected that the fight will now be rescheduled for the under-card of the Floyd Mayweather bout, in Las Vegas, on 12th September, just like we all feared when it was first announced.
Speaking about the delay, Groves is quoted as having remarked in The Sun,
?Patience is not one of my virtues. I can?t wait to knock out Jack.?
My fears are that British Boxing fans are, once again, going to be out of pocket rearranging flights and hotel rooms.
