Following the decision to declare the intriguing super-middleweight fight between James DeGale and Badou Jack a majority draw, the fighters kept their IBF and WBC super-middleweight belts respectively.
The unification fight was a thriller and it could, in all fairness, have gone either way.
Following the fight James DeGale spoke about a re-match, something the punters who watched the fight would probably welcome.
However, if it is to happen then it won?t be at super-middleweight.
The Badou Jack camp, controlled by the legend that is Floyd Mayweather Jnr, has already indicted that Jacks future will be at light-heavyweight.
Indeed Jack, who now has a record that reads 20-1-3 with 12 wins coming by the big KO is looking to take on the WBC light-heavyweight title holder, Adonis Stevenson, with the fight taking place as early as June.
Continuing, Mayweather Jnr confirms that he?d have no problem taking the fight as he is of the firm belief that Jack easily beat DeGale.
Now whether DeGale, after he recovers from the gruelling fight that left him with a busted nose, a burst eardrum and a tooth missing, has ambitions of moving up to take on Jack remains to be seen.
