Today is the day.
The day two giant of the super-bantamweight division go head-to-head at the Manchester Arena.
Both are, in taking the fight the public want to see and the two boxers wan, risking their respective world title belts and their unbeaten records.
The IBF champion, Carl Frampton, enters the ring with a record that reads 21-0 with 14 wins by way of knockout whilst Scott Quigg will climb between the ropes defending his WBA belt and a record that reads 31-0-2 with 23 of those wins coming by knockout.
Yesterday, the weigh in took place at the MEN Arena in front of a very impressive audience, said to number 6,000.
Frampton took to the scales looking in peak condition and weighing 121.7 pounds whereas Quigg climbed on to the scales weighing 121.6 pounds, but did the WBA champion look drained? Some would say his face looked gaunt and suggested Quigg might have struggled to make the weight.
The ring walks are scheduled to start at 22:45 UK time, it promises to be an occasion not to be missed.
It?s Fight Day!
