The Derby Arena tonight will witness a family affair.
The Fury clan are about to descend en-masse for a show dominated by the heavyweight brigade.
, who once decreed he?d become the youngest heavyweight champion ever, will be taking on the durable, but ageing, Brazilian fighter George Arias over ten rounds whilst another of the Futy fighting clan, Young Fury, brother of Tyson, will be taking on the Latvian fighter Ostaps Basin over four rounds.
However, trying not to draw attention away from the two Fury?s on the bill tonight will be a certain Tyson Fury keen to cheer his family members on.
Hughie, taking a record of 15-0 with 8 wins coming by way of knockout to the ring, seems particularly pleased that Tyson will be on-site, remarking,
‘Tyson has always trained with me and watched me fight.
‘He sees everything I do in the gym and it’s great to be around him – especially in the lead-up to his world heavyweight title fight.
‘We see a different side to Tyson in the gym. He’s cocky on the mic, but behind the scenes he’s a lovely, down-to-Earth person.
‘Tyson often watches my sparring and tells me what I’m doing wrong. He sits me down and says, ‘Look, you’re doing this wrong and need to improve on this or that.’ I’ve learnt a lot from Tyson over the years.’
Here at Vital Boxing we reckon Derby is in for a treat tonight and Tyson, as he waits for his date with destiny to arrive, will be given a rousing reception.
It?s a Fury Family Affair
