Matched with the Trinidadian fighter Shawn Corbin, Cleverly wasted little time in finishing the fight in the second round when a right upper-cut hit the Trinidadian and it was a punch he was never to recover from.
The win earned Cleverly the little heralded WBA Inter-Continental title but it is a fight with Tony Bellew that the Welsh fighter really hankers after with Cleverly remarking after the fight,
