With the date and venue announced for the all-English IBF/WBA super middleweight clash between Carl Froch and George Groves, it appears that a sell-out, ticket-wise, is expected.

Unbeaten Groves, defending a 19-0 record, will be taking on the defending IBF/WBA champion, Carl Froch, defending a 31-2-record.

Speaking about the ticket sales, the shows promoter, Eddie Hearn, from the Matchroom stable, is quoted as having commented,

?Phone line, Twitter and e-mails haven?t stopped for tickets since we confirmed the fight. We are expecting another instant sellout when we go on sale on September 17th. I?m delighted to bring this event to Manchester on November 23rd. This Battle of Britain is a fascinating fight between a true legend in British boxing in Carl Froch and a superb young talent in George Groves.?

Its okay Eddie, there?s no need to sell this one to us, it?s one that sells itself to British fight fans.
