Tyson Fury was hoping to get back in the ring and resume his professional boxing career in July.
Out in Marbella, training with Billy Joe Saunders, Tyson has already started to shift the excess weight and appears to have the hunger for the sport back.
However, before the Gypsy King can climb back into the ring there was the small problem of his license being suspended.
Tyson was hoping that the UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) would have heard his case at a hearing.
Unfortunately, the hearing was postponed, as we reported earlier, due to a conflict of interests.
Until a new date is set for the hearing Tyson Fury is unable to box and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) have confirmed he remains suspended, with the general secretary, Robert Smith, remarking to the media,
‘I haven’t seen any new dates yet. I presume they are trying to sort them out with legal advisors’ but until that hearing, his licence is suspended.’
Tyson?s promoter, Frank Warren, fears that Tyson could be kept out of the ring until as late as October, which seems harsh.
Let?s hope the matter gets resolved one way or another before then.
It May Be An October Comeback for Fury
